Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1-Buzz Review

Harry Potter; perhaps the most successful book series of all time and soon to be the biggest and most successful movie franchise of all time, soon to be beating the record held previously by the Star Wars series. In the movie adaptation of the last book the producers and director, David Yates, decided to split it into two movies. They couldn't have made a better choice. In this installment of the series we find Harry and friends tracking down the source to Voldermort's immortality; the horcruxes.Without giving away too much I'd have to say that this movie is by far the most intense and nailbiting of the series. Part 1 is also the most serious and darker than all the other ones. However, there are a few instances of slapstick and comedy, even in the most serious times. With all that said, the Harry Potter movies have truly defined themselves as a generational phenomenon, especially with this installment. I grew up with Harry Potter along with my friends and seeing this movie really shows me where I've gone and where I'm going. You could easily relate to Harry's hardships and struggles and pain and joy in the midst of trouble. And with the cliffhanger ending of this one, I'll be waiting to see how his story comes to the happy conclusion I know is coming next July. So even if you aren't into Harry Potter or you are a hardcore fan this movie is a must see and definitely WORTH IT.
